Since the whip and fire seeds, Conner's been busy getting our next big item functional, the wind seeds! He also found some time to add dodging in the game!
At it's core, it will push the player (or enemies) sky-high. On it's own, it may not look so useful, but when paired with something like the roll, it can cover quite the distance!
Here, you're able to jump right over these dead bushes, something you can normally get through only by burning them. The same can be done for any one-tall blocks, like fences, bushes, logs, smaller rocks, etc. You don't get it until much further in the game, but when you do, it'll open up many new paths and shortcuts previously unattainable. Very useful indeed!
But there's another mechanic here that shouldn't go unnoticed, and that's the dodging itself. It gives a short, big boost of movement, letting you dodge enemy attacks, or in this case, lengthen how far the wind seeds carry you!
