One of the core mechanics of Cassonia is going to be the whip, and I'm very excited to announce we have a working version in the game!
Throughout the game, you'll receive upgrades to the whip that give it more damage, more range, etc. However, you can also pair it with certain items, like these fire seeds!
Those animations are not complete yet, by the way :) There's still a good deal more work to make those look polished, but the functionality's there. You may have noticed the delay before they explode is pretty slow, and that's purposeful.
When you use it back-to-back with the whip, you'll be able to instantly explode your enemies. You may have also noticed a new button marked "L" in the top right. That's temporary, but when we get it complete it will let you pair the whip and fire seed together, giving you an explosive whip.
